I've been reading several forums on upgrading the razor mx350 to 36v and I want to be certain before I start ordering parts. Could you point me in the right direction regarding the specific controller, throttle, charger, batteries, and other parts I need to upgrade my sons 24v mx350 to a 36v . A parts list would be awesome. I apologize if this has already been covered on here.

We can help with a parts list. Do you want to overvolt the original 24 Volt motor or install a new 36 Volt motor?

Hi Chris, you could overvolt the original motor bu installing a higher Voltage battery pack and controller, or convert the scooter to have a motor with a higher Watts rating and then change the wheel sprocket to lower the gear ratio. The method that you decide to use will determine what parts are needed for the conversion.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi it's Chris I'm going to start with a higher voltage battery and controller how much would that cost and where to buy them cheers
Upgrading the original 24 Volt battery pack to a 36 Volt battery pack will require fitting three batteries into the same place that the two original batteries were in so I am not sure what size batteries would be right for the job. To help with choosing the right size batteries we list the dimensions of our batteries on our batteries page at this link: https://electricscooterparts.com/batteries.html
For the SPD-36800B controller I recommend using a minimum battery size of 15Ah because the controller is capable of drawing 32 Amps from the battery pack and 15Ah batteries are rated for a 32 Amp load for 30 minutes.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

36 Volt motors that are more powerful than the Razor MX350's original 250 or 350 Watt motor range in price from $89.95 to $149.95 depending on which one is used. Our 36 Volt motors are sold on this page: https://electricscooterparts.com/motors36volt.html
