Razor EcoSmart Metro Batteries Upgrade

Can I simply swap out the factory 12 Volt 7 Ah batteries. With high capacity 12 Volt 9 Ah batteries for an increased runtime? And If so, do I need to upgrade anything else or will all other factory parts work with this battery upgrade? For example same Throttle? Same Controller? Same Charger?

Thank you Ahead of time for your help.

Allan

The Razor EcoSmart scooter's original 12 Volt 7Ah batteries and our 12 Volt 9Ah batteries are the exact same size so swapping out the 7Ah batteries for higher capacity 9Ah batteries can be done without any modifications necessary.

All of the original parts such as the charger, throttle, and controller will work with 9Ah batteries and no other parts need to be changed when upgrading to 9Ah batteries.

The battery pack wiring harness is soldered to the original batteries so a soldering iron and solder will be necessary to move the battery pack wiring harness over to the new batteries. Or a 9Ah battery pack with new wiring harness pre-installed (soldered) onto the batteries such as our item # ESM-BATTERYPACK-XR could be purchased for an easy plug-and-play installation.
