Motor bracket size?

Hey guys, I'm currently rebuilding a razor e300. The problem I have is I'm looking to put a 500w motor on it. However, the original motor is MY16 (IS THAT REFERRING TO THE BRACKET SIZE?) If so, I am looking at motors that are MY20, is this going to cause me a major problem to fit it on board? If so what issues am I likely to face? Thanks.

MY1016 and MY1020 motors have different size mounting brackets. The MY1020 motor brackets are larger than the MY1016 brackets. A larger plate may need to be bolted onto the existing motor mounting plate so the larger MY1020 motor can be mounted to it. Or the old plate could be removed and a larger one welded to the frame if you have fabrication and welding equipment.
