Razor MX350 MX400 dirt bike variable speed mods

My son has an older Razor MX350 that has the single speed throttle....what speed controller and throttle do I need to make it variable speed?

Also will that controller handle another battery (36 Volt)?

We carry a plug-and-play variable speed throttle and controller kit for Razor MX350 version 9-32, item # RAZ-EKIT8:

The controllers in these kits are rated for 24 Volts. We are not sure how they would handle being overvolted to 36 Volts. We have 36 Volt controllers that could be custom installed on the MX350 though.
