Using Controller at full power setting.

I want to use a 36 volt battery  and 36 volt controller put out only 24 volts.


The one i'm  using  has a small pot to put a preset top end limit. I want to use No throlle for this , can I short across on 2 or the 3 wires or something to accheve this ?



To use a speed controller without a throttle the +5V output throttle wire which is usually red can be connected to the control signal throttle wire which is usually green. That will make the controller run at full throttle without a throttle being connected to it.
