The 1000 Watt motor is the largest motor available that will fit the eZip 1000 electric scooter without modifications. A 48 Volt 1600 Watt motor would require frame or swingarm modifications to install.
Here is a link to a 48 Volt 1800 Watt kit that shows what electrical parts would be needed for a modification.

This kit has lead-acid batteries, however, a different version of it could be made with a lithium battery pack on request.

Hi,
I just purchased an eZip E1000 electric scooter and it is a 36v system with lead acid batteries that I would like to modify. What would I have to do to make it a 1800 lets say with lithium batteries?
