Welding a sprocket

Our 11 tooth 10mm dual D-bore sprocket for #25 chain, along with all of our other chain sprockets, are made from steel. Welding any of our sprockets to mild steel should work perfectly. The motor sprockets are blackened so they may need a little grinding where the weld is going to be if using an electric welding method.
