Unable to charge

When he got it we charge it up worked well but when we went to recharge it for the 2nd time  would not. We have tested the charger and that workers ok we think it is the little black box underneath can this be fixed. We got it for my grandson for Christmas. As I live in Australia I could not find anywhere here to fix it. Hoping you can help. Thanking you Lorraine Newey

The little black box under the footplate is what we call the controller. We do not repair them so I can not offer any advise on repair however they can be replaced if available. I can check on availability. What make and model electric scooter do you have?
