Can u use a 36v e.s.c. to test a 48v motor

A 48 Volt brushless motor will run slowly on 36 Volts so a 36 Volt controller should be able to be used to test it.
If you tested the power switch, wiring, throttle, battery pack, and brake switch and they are all good then the problem would most likely have to be with the motor or controller.
