If the motor spins backwards that can easily be fixed by reversing the positions of the two wires between the motor and controller.
The motor's connector has male terminals which can be removed from the connector by pushing in their locking tab with a small flat head screwdriver until it is flat with the terminal, then the terminal can be gently pulled out of the back of the connector.
Next the locking tabs can be restored back to their original positions, and the terminals reinserted back into the plastic connector in the opposite positions that they were in when they were removed.
