Batter replacement

Someone has given me 2 escooters that have been in storage. I need to replace batteries. They are the dolphin style bodies. I am having trouble getting the batteries out. Is there a trick to getting them out? Thanks!

Sometimes the batteries will swell a little if they are attempted to be recharged after the scooter has been in storage for a long time.


If the batteries are stuck in the scooter's frame then it will take brute force to remove them. Using a pry bar, large screwdriver, or other similar tool that can force them out of the frame is usually the most effective way to remove them.

Thanks for the advice. I was afraid to do the "brute force" thing. I will go for it will my pry bar. Can't wait to get them going!
