My throttle is un responsive

As I was writing my bike up a slight I wasn’t making any more progress but I had the throttle fully engaged all the sudden the bike started to go back a little bit I had to close the brakes when I got it up the hill I had to walk it back to my house there is power going to the unit the throttle sounded like it was responsive but there was an electrical burning smell from the battery compartment not sure what to do

It sounds like there may be a problem with the battery pack wiring harness or connectors. We recommend carefully inspecting the battery pack wiring harness and the wires and connectors between the battery pack and controller for any signs of overheating and replacing any of the wires or connectors which may have overheated.
