Old Sharper Image City Bug

Have an old but seldom used City Bug from Sharper Image. Put new batteries in it and bought a new charger and it worked fine. Haven’t used it in 6 months now when I turn it on I get a continual beeping and no lights. Any ideas? Manual say a throttle problem but that seems fine. Thx

The throttle cable may have lost some of its lubrication over the past 6 months so it is not going back to the zero throttle position inside of the potentiometer box where it terminates at. We would try lubricating the inside of the throttle cable housing to try to restore the cables ability to return to the zero throttle position at its other end.
