E300 throttle not working after control unit repair

Hi I have changed my batteries on e300 version 41.when finished I turned on and switch light came on but I heard a fizz and turned off emediatly. Found a 24v 1000uf cap was dead due to me putting the 2 conected wires from batteries wrong way round.fixed that and replaced capacitor and when turned on only switch light came on but nowt with throttle. So eventually I sussed capacitor was wrong way round and took out and put another new one in.now my problem is that now when I flick switch to on the motor kicks straight in without using throttle. Can even unplug throttle,still the same.HELP.

We do not repair speed controllers here so we do not have any knowledge in the field of speed controller repair.
