Well, I built my first ever eBike today using various parts. I used a 1000W, 48v motor and a 48V controller that came together, and then added a 48V lithium ion battery on a slide-out tray.
If I had it to do over again, I'd likely do a 52V battery instead, assuming that's safe.
Rode it today for about a 10 mile round trip with a ton of hills; if can manage pretty much every hill we have here without me assisting, but I prefer to on the steep ones!
