I bought a used SBU first version at a pawn shop. Everything worked. I brought it home and went to put it on a charger. I did not notice the the charging port was a bit loose and I must have twisted it too far where one of the wires came loose and the charging port sparked and was engulfed into what looked like a fire from F15 fighter jet. It lasted for about 5 seconds. The charging port got fried and melted. I replaced the port, but it does not look like its charging. Can you recommend where I can take it for someone to repair it in Los Angeles?
We do not know of any specific repair shop that works on SBU unicycles. Here is a list of shops that repair electric scooters in the greater Los Angeles area:
L.A. Scooter 11318 S. Vermont Ave Los Angeles, CA 90044 (323) 777-0789
